Coming Soon
I suppose I could have saved my first post until I'd made a firm decision to write at least semi-regularly, but I didn't so here we are. If you're reading this now, just know that I'm working on a few other pages for the blog before writing posts in earnest. Hopefully I'll be done with the additional pages soon so there'll be a little more to this blog than just my own thoughts.
I'm pretty much done with the "About Me" page. The "Q&A" and "Disclaimer" pages are done for now but I will continue to add to them as necessary. This week I'll be writing summaries for each of the links on the "________ Resources" pages and then I'll move on to writing more posts.
Thanks for your patience. I hope I'll soon have a substantive blog for you to return to and enjoy.

First Post!
Hi, I'm Joshua Butler.
If you've found my blog, you likely already knew my name but may not know anything else about me. I'm a 28-year-old Latter-day Saint from Tremonton, Utah. I'm the seventh of eight kids and have been a member of the Church since age 8. I served in the Brazil, Rio de Janeiro North mission from '06 to '08 and I graduate from BYU in Psychology in August of '15. I experienced exclusive attraction to men from pre-adolescence until shortly after my mission when, through a combination of factors, my sexual orientation became fluid. I now experience varied orientations depending on a number of factors. I've experienced homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual and even asexual orientations for varied periods of time throughout my past several years. For the most part, I don't even bother to identify with a single orientation.
What do I have to say that's worth your time to read? If you've found my blog it's likely because you've already read an article I posted on either Millennial Mormons or Northern Lights. These were my first posts published anywhere outside of facebook and their reception and the feedback I've received have been such that I can no longer pretend that I have nothing worthwhile to share.
So here's my blog. It's small and amateur but I hope that as I share my thoughts on the Restored Gospel and what that has meant in my life as a sexual minority Latter-day Saint, I'll be able to bless others like I was able to with my first post. That's the real reason behind this blog. I hope to be able to touch others' minds and hearts by opening to them a perspective that they perhaps hadn't considered before, or by voicing something they'd wished they could say themselves.
Thank you for your time. I'll do my best to ensure it's always well-spent here.
